Empty Halls and Buzzing Walls

i was walking lazily down the stairs when i got a terrible taste in my mouth. i was all alone in the house, and i sashayed  into the downstairs bathroom. i opened up the mirror cabinet and the entire bottom row was filled with toothbrushes of all different colors, but there wasn't any toothpaste. the first one i reached for was green. i closed the cabinet and examined my tongue in the mirror. it was a strange light brown color with speckles of white. i rinsed off the green toothbrush and started to vigorously brush my tongue. i rinsed it again then grabbed another colored toothbrush. i repeated this until i had used all the toothbrushes, none of which had been mine. i sighed contently and walked back up the stairs into my room. i sat on my bed to begin reading a book. my mom walked in, very upset, and she said "you guys really need to start cleaning up your stuff." she stepped out into the hallway, so i followed her. the upstairs hallway was completely cleared of everything. and i mean everything. the shelves were gone, the toy chest of games were nowhere in sight, and even the closet decided to pack up and leave. the only object left was an empty shell of a computer tower leaning casually against the far wall. she pointed at it like the ghost of Christmas yet to come, hand trembling and all. "that's where they've been getting in" she whispered. she then revealed a double-sided syringe with 2 separate substances contained within it. as she injected it into the walls, she said "we need to get every nail hole, or else they'll come out" After every injection, she'd cover the spot with a bile yellow or a faded brown colored circle sticker. i was very confused at this point, and i asked "what will?" she spun around and looked at me as if i were insane. "the hornets in the walls" she spat at me, exasperated. she stomped away into my little brother's room and ordered him to start the wall medicine. i crouched down and pressed my ear to the wall. i could hear the buzzing of a thousand angry insects, wanting and waiting to escape. i stood up quickly, but it was a little too quickly because i got very dizzy and light-headed. i fell backwards and i braced myself for the ground. i opened my eyes, and i was awake.
